Frequently asked questions
Short answers about using the registry, pedigrees and the directory.
View all questionsHow do I search for a horse?
Type the horse's Arabic or English name, or its registration number, in the search box on the home page or the Horses page. You can narrow the results by farm, sex, strain and colour.
What does a horse profile show?
The profile shows the horse's key details — sex, date of birth, strain, colour, farm, breeder and registration numbers — together with its pedigree, offspring, siblings, photos, videos and show results where available.
How do I view the pedigree?
Open the horse's profile and choose the "Pedigree" tab. You can zoom, pan and go full screen, open any ancestor with a published profile by clicking its name, and download the tree as an image or a pedigree certificate.
How does the advanced search work?
The advanced search combines many criteria: name, farm, strain, sex, date of birth or age, sire and dam, breeder, and registration and microchip numbers. Numbers match in full only, and every search has a link you can share.
How do I contact a service provider?
Open the provider's page from the services directory; you will find call, WhatsApp, email and location buttons where available. You contact the provider directly.
How do I list my service in the directory?
Send your request from the Contact page with the service name, its category and your contact details, and the platform team will review and add it.
